Well this was not a good ending to the day...luckily I have 1 more meal which is dessert... mostly fruit thank goodness. This is BY FAR the worst juice of the day.
6 kale leaves
1 cucumber
2 celery
1inch ginger
1/2 lemon
1 green apple
BLECH
The combo is SO tang and bitter. I actually feel like its going to rotten my teeth. They do recommend brushing after juice and I do agree. I use a straw as well to help.
Feeling like munching right now. I am not going to lie I actually want to dig into some ice cream / PB sandwich even tuna with crackers which I am not a fan of in the first place. However..I CAN say that I am not really hungry. No pain just mental boredom. I have not had a bowel movement...I know you want to know eh? But I want to log everything and that's part of it people. So I am curious to see what happens tomorrow. They say you can either get constipated OR diarrhea. I would prefer neither but I am prepared for both.

BEETS STAIN
Ok so its now mid afternoon snack time and I am hungry. Not totally uncomfortable but a little nagging feeling.

2 beets
1 carrot
3 celery stalks
1 orange
1/2 lemon
So I realize I may need to go get some gloves for this one. They do stain and its all over my hands from trying to cut them smaller to fit in the juicer. I also wasnt sure if I juice the whole stem that comes with it? I did anyway but maybe I will search that out. I also heard that organic is best...which I don't have today. Hoping it still has nutrients and is good. I guess I could search out organic produce...but I still need to keep this affordable.
Well the taste is a little dirt-ish but the lemon gives it a zing that makes it bearable.

Lunch - Filling
I do have to say I was completely full while drinking this meal. However...its now an hour later and I am starving. I can see where this may get difficult. I also am seeing a few hurdles.
1. Clean Up - Its quite the task to clean the juicer after EVERY juice.
2. prepping the vegetables and fruit could come in real handy
3. I don't know yet how I will do this while on the road?

Mid Morning Coconut Water
Its 10am and I am now drinking the recommended coconut water. This is supposed to help reduce the detox symptoms as well and provide added nutrients. I just bought a small container of the NAKED brand pure coconut water. First taste....yuck. This one I will have to learn to like. Not that its completely nasty..just a thick BITTER pasty drink. So far I feel no detox symptoms. No fatigue no hunger no headaches. I am sure they will come...better get my boxing gloves, Tylenol and a bubble bath ready just in case:)
First Juice- YUM!
So I have been watching and reading a lot about juicing and the health benefits. For starters I could definitely lose some weight. I am currently at 175. However, I am hoping to focus more on the health not the weight loss. I am curious to see and feel the difference in my skin, my hair, my nails, my energy etc. I have a hard time committing to something for long periods of time. But 21 days...I think I can handle. I am following Joe Cross 5 day reboot juicing plan..but will do it for 21days just repeating the same juices. I am good with repetition and I also think it will help cut down on the cost if I buy in bulk.
